While Neeku was repairing the B2 battle droids, he befriended B1 and enlisted his helped in repairing the B2s. Kragan remarked that they must have gotten B1 free with the other droids. When the pirate Skreek knocked him on the head, the Nikto mechanic Neeku Vozo, who was tasked with fixing the battle droids, told the pirate to be gentle with them. B1 was relieved that he was finally free from the cramped container and remarked that he needed a deep core adjustment. B1 remained hidden in the transport containers full of B2-series super battle droids, which needed repairs. Gorr wanted to use the droids to overthrow Captain Imanuel Doza, the ruler of the Colossus refueling platform. B1 was a B1-series battle droid owned by the Delphidian pirate Sidon Ithano until he was sold to another pirate Kragan Gorr, the leader of the Warbird gang.
